Collaboration with DISPERINDAG Bali Province and BBPOM Denpasar, FTP Unud Lecturer Trusted as a CPPOB Certification Expert Team for MSMEs in Sading

Udayana University's Faculty of Agricultural Technology lecturers collaborated with the Bali Provincial Industry and Trade Office and the Food and Drug Examination Center (BBPOM) in Denpasar to carry out Certification Assistance Activities for Good Processed Food Production Methods (CPPOB) at Sarijaya Bakery. This activity was carried out from July 1 to September 30, 2024.

 

Sarijaya Bakery is one of the MSMEs in the Sading area which is engaged in the bakery business. The Expert Team in this activity is Dr. Dewa Ayu Anom Yuarini, S.TP., M.Agb who is a Lecturer in the Agricultural Industrial Technology Study Program, FTP Unud and the team in the CPPOB certification assistance activities at Sarijaya Bakery to obtain an MD distribution permit. The activities that have been carried out are Carrying out Certification Assistance for Good Processed Food Production Methods (CPPOB), which runs from July 1, 2024 to September 30, 2024, compiling CPPOB documents from 4 Sarijaya Bakery products, namely chocolate, pandan, durian, and purple yam variants. The output of this activity is to obtain CPPOB certificates from 4 Sarijaya Bakery products, namely chocolate, pandan, durian, and purple sweet potato variants.

 

Dr. Dewa Ayu Anom Yuarini, S.TP., M.Agb as the expert team reported that this activity went well and smoothly, Sarijaya Bakery MSMEs were very cooperative and eager to be assisted in the implementation of CPPOB certification, she also said that she was very proud and happy that many MSMEs were willing to develop food safety-based businesses so that businesses could develop more and could be distributed throughout Indonesia, she also hoped that with the certification obtained, income and sales of Sarijaya Bakery products could increase rapidly. In addition, he hopes that many other MSMEs will follow Sarijaya Bakery's example in conducting CPPOB certification so that more and more MSMEs will upgrade and develop their business towards a more professional direction, she said.
