Collaboration with the Buleleng Government, FTP Unud Lecturers Appointed to Be Resource Persons in Sudaji Village

The Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University continues to collaborate with the District Government for assistance and standardization of food products. This time the collaboration was carried out with the Buleleng Government, namely the Department of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises of Buleleng Regency, precisely to develop the quality and diversification of superior processed food products in Buleleng Regency in 2023.

 

The activity was attended and opened directly by the Head of the Department of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises, Buleleng Regency, Drs. Dewa Made Sudiarta, M.Si., Head of Sudaji Village. The Technical Standardization Activity for Processing and Labeling of Juruh Palm Sugar and Batok Palm Sugar Packaging in Sudaji Village, Buleleng has been running from 3 – 5 October 2023 at the Sudaji Village Office and the Production House of the SME Group of Batok Palm Sugar and Juruh Sudaji Palm Sugar Activists. The training activity was attended by 22 communities who presented 2 resource persons, namely I Desak Putu Kartika Pratiwi, S.TP., M.P. and Dr. Dewa Ayu Anom Yuarini, S.TP., M.Agb and 2 instructors Putu Julyantika Nica Dewi, S.TP., M.TP. and I Gede Arie Mahendra Putra, S.TP., M.TP. who is a lecturer from the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University.

 

Head of the Department of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises, Buleleng Regency, Drs. Dewa Made Sudiarta, M.Si. He hopes that through the activities carried out he can improve the quality of sugar products produced in Sudaji Village. He also said that this collaboration will definitely continue to be implemented in order to improve and develop typical food processing from Buleleng Regency which comes from the potential of villages in the Buleleng area and it is also hoped that in the future the production process can be implemented according to standards, he also hopes that in the future Sudaji Village can become a Sugar Production Center in the Buleleng area, he said.
