Faculty of Agricultural Technology Umiversitas Udayana Strengthens Student Research Collaboration with Faculty of Agricultural Technology Universitas Brawijaya

Jimbaran, June 25, 2026 – The Faculty of Agricultural Technology (FTP) of Universitas Udayana welcomed representatives from the Faculty of Agricultural Technology of Universitas Brawijaya for a meeting to discuss and finalize the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) for the Impactful Student Research Program (Riset Mahasiswa Berdampak/RMB). The meeting was held at the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Udayana, and was attended by faculty leaders and academic representatives from both institutions.

This meeting marked an important step in strengthening inter-university collaboration to support the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in the field of student research. Through this partnership, both institutions are committed to developing research programs that create tangible impacts on scientific advancement, enhance student competencies, and contribute to solving various challenges in agricultural technology.

The Cooperation Agreement regulates the implementation of the Impactful Student Research Program (RMB), which includes research activities, research supervision, preparation of research reports, and the completion of undergraduate thesis drafts. The program also covers laboratory research, experimental field research, data analysis, research logbook preparation, discussions on research methods and findings, and the drafting of final research reports.

Through this collaboration, students of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Udayana, will have the opportunity to conduct research activities at the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Brawijaya under joint supervision from lecturers of both institutions. In addition, both faculties will strengthen cooperation in research coordination, joint scientific publications, and the exchange of expertise in research development.

The Impactful Student Research Program is one of the implementations of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) initiative, which provides students with direct research-based learning experiences. This collaboration is expected to create a more collaborative and innovative research ecosystem capable of producing high-quality research outputs that benefit society.

The meeting held at the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Udayana, also served as a momentum to strengthen institutional relations between the two faculties. Both parties expressed their commitment to expanding future academic collaborations in the areas of research, education, and community service.

With the establishment of this cooperation, the Faculty of Agricultural Technology of Universitas Udayana and the Faculty of Agricultural Technology of Universitas Brawijaya are optimistic that they can enhance the quality of student research, broaden national academic networks, and generate agricultural technology innovations that contribute significantly to the development of Indonesian agriculture.
