Healthy Living Through Local Eating : NutriTalk National Seminar FESFOOD 2024

The Student Association of the Food Technology Study Program, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University, is organizing NutriTalk, part of the Festival of Food Technology, also known as FESFOOD. This event is a program initiated by the Department of Interests and Talents of the Food Technology Student Association, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University. The event will be held on October 20, 2024, with the theme "Healthy Living Through Local Eating." NutriTalk is a national seminar discussing topics related to food, health, and nutrition. It is held alongside the Foodtech Creative Competition (FCC) as part of its Awarding Day. The seminar will be conducted in a hybrid format, with offline participants gathering at Hotel Neo Denpasar, Graha Sastra Loka Ballroom, and online participants joining via Zoom Meeting, allowing for both in-person and virtual participation. The event is open to the public.

 

The seminar will be attended by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University, Dr. Ir. Komang Ayu Nocianitri, M.Agr.Sc, who will deliver opening remarks on behalf of the Dean, as well as Dr. Gusti Ayu Kadek Diah Puspawati, S.TP., M.Si, the Coordinator of the Food Technology Study Program, faculty mentors, and all student organization leaders within the Faculty of Agricultural Technology. The event will feature presentations and a talk show by guest speakers, moderated by a designated moderator, and will conclude with a discussion and Q&A session between the speakers and participants. The topics covered by the speakers include "Healthy Living Through Local Eating," presented by Dr. Ni Wayan Nursini, S.TP., MP, followed by a talk show session on "Transforming Life with Physical Activities and Healthy Lifestyle for Lasting Weight Loss," delivered by Sania Leonardo.

 

The event aims to support the government's initiative in promoting the importance of nutritious food consumption to the public, particularly students of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University, and to promote the Faculty of Agricultural Technology on a national level. The seminar has garnered a total of 591 participants, with 138 attending in person and 453 joining online, and even online participants were overseas students from Canada, Thailand and Australia.. The seminar will feature two main speakers: Dr. Ni Wayan Nursini, S.TP., MP, a lecturer from the Nutrition Science Program at Dhyana Pura University, and Sania Leonardo, a content creator and the guest star of this seminar.
