Introduce Faculties Through Academic, Sports and Art Competition, BEM FTP Unud Held D'East 2022

The Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology held a grand opening for the Dewata Event Academic Sport and Art (D'East) 2022. The activity was held on Wednesday, June 22^nd , 2022 in the Nusantara Room, Agrokompleks Building 4^th  Floor, Sudirman Campus, Udayana University.

The Grand Opening activity was attended and opened directly by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Dr. Ir. Komang Ayu Nocianitri, M.Agr.,Sc. In addition, this activity was also attended by Assistant Lecturers of BEM Activities, Coordinator of Interests and Talents of Student Associations in FTP Unud, Representatives of the Coordinator of Talent, Arts and Sports from all Faculties at Udayana University, Representatives of BEM PM Unud and also several representatives of the Event Sponsor.

The series of Grand opening activities consisted of Opening, D'East Video Show, Pledge Reading, Event Themesong Performance and Flash Mob also Closing. D'East is a work program of The Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology (BEM FTP) which consists of 5 competition, namely Sports consisting of Futsal and E-Sport (Mobile Legend and PUBG Matches) also Academic and Art consisting of Poster competitions and Business Plan Competitions. Rheza Aryaputra, a student of the Food Technology Study Program as the Chair of the Committee, explained that D'East is one of the BEM FTP Unud Work Programs which consists of 5 race branches with a total of 107 teams with participants from schools in Bali and outside Bali such as Sumatra and Java and there are participants from the Regional Association. He also added that the competition for each branch was planned to be held from the end of June to July and the series of activities closed with a Grand Closing and the announcement of the winners.

As Chair of the Committee, Rheza Aryaputra hopes that this activity can be used as a forum for students and general participants to increase their interests and talents in the fields of sports, academics, as well as the arts, besides that this activity also aims to introduce FTP Unud to the public through the existing competition branches, he said.
