The 41st Anniversary of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University, and the 31st BK Anniversary: A Momentum for Togetherness and Innovation

Jimbaran, October 7, 2025 — An atmosphere of enthusiasm and togetherness colored the peak of the 41st Anniversary and 31st BK of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology (FTP) of Udayana University, which was held at the JA FTP Unud Building. This lively event was a moment of reflection on the long journey of FTP Unud in producing a superior and innovative generation in the field of agricultural technology.

 

The highlight of the event opened with a flag ceremony in the courtyard of the JA Building, followed by the cutting of a tumpeng (cone-shaped rice dish) by the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology as a symbol of gratitude and new hope for FTP Unud. Also present at the event were the Rector of Udayana University along with the Vice Rectors, the Chair of the Bali Provincial KPU, the Deans, the Director of Postgraduate Studies, the Chair of the Institution, lecturers, educational staff, and students of FTP Unud.

 

In his speech, the Dean of FTP Unud emphasized the importance of strengthening cross-disciplinary collaboration and maintaining the spirit of innovation amid rapid technological developments. “More than four decades of FTP Unud's existence is not only about age, but also about real contributions in building food self-sufficiency and developing sustainable agricultural technology,” he said.

 

The series of activities took place from morning to night, including a reception with the FTP Unud academic community, Awarding of honors to retired FTP Udayana employees and Udayana University leaders, as well as Agritech Ceria, which showcased student creativity through various interactive activities. In the evening, the atmosphere became even warmer with a social gathering and art performance featuring music, dance, and artwork from the FTP Unud family.

 

This celebration is not only a gathering, but also a moment to strengthen the spirit of togetherness and dedication of FTP Unud in realizing its vision as a faculty that excels in the field of innovative, adaptive, and globally competitive agricultural technology.
