UP2M Profile
The Research and Community Engagement Unit (UP2M) of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology is one of the faculty units that, within the organizational structure, operates under the Vice Dean I as authorized by the Dean.
UP2M is primarily responsible for coordinating research and community engagement activities within the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Udayana, to contribute academic expertise and fulfill the faculty's academic responsibilities to the public and relevant industries.
The unit also facilitates the implementation of study program research priorities and various other research and community engagement schemes funded by the faculty, while serving as an information bridge between the faculty and the Research and Community Engagement Institute (LP2M) of Universitas Udayana.
In addition, UP2M manages the dissemination of research findings through various academic forums, including national and international seminars.
Main Duties and Functions
Develop plans, programs, and evaluations for research and community engagement activities.
Develop policy guidelines for research and community engagement and, together with the Faculty Leadership, formulate research roadmaps for the faculty and study programs.
Coordinate research and community engagement activities, including collaboration in both areas, in alignment with the educational objectives and development of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology.
Conduct annual monitoring and evaluation of activities and report the results to the Dean through the Vice Dean.
Manage administrative affairs related to research and community engagement.
Strategic Roles of UP2M
Research and Community Engagement Facilitation
Facilitates the implementation of priority research programs within study programs and various faculty-funded research and community engagement schemes.
LP2M Information Liaison
Serves as an information bridge between the Faculty of Agricultural Technology and the Research and Community Engagement Institute (LP2M) of Universitas Udayana.
Research Dissemination
Manages the dissemination of research findings through various academic forums, including national and international seminars.
Academic Contribution and Community Impact
Encourages the contribution of academic expertise and the fulfillment of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology's academic responsibilities to the public and relevant industries.
