Collaboration with Denpasar City Tourism Office, FTP Unud Lecturer Provides Assistance to Creative Economy Actors in Denpasar City

Realizing the collaboration with the Denpasar City Tourism Office, a team of lecturers from the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University provided assistance in Padangsambian Kaja Village on May 24, 2024 which was attended by creative economy players in the culinary field of Denpasar City.

 

This activity is expected to increase the selling value and shelf life of catfish produced by creative economic actors. The training resource person is a team of lecturers from the Faculty of Agricultural Technology which is a collaboration of lecturers from the three study programs at FTP Unud, namely Dr. Dewa Ayu Anom Yuarini, S.TP., M.Agb and Cokorda Anom Bayu Sadyasmara, S.TP., M.Sc who are Lecturers from the Agricultural Industrial Technology Study Program, Mrs. I Desak Putu Kartika Pratiwi, S.TP., M.P. and Mrs. Putu Julyantika Nica Dewi, S.TP., M.TP. are Lecturers of the Food Technology Study Program and Mr. Ir. I Gusti Ketut Arya Arthawan, M.Fd.Eng who is a Lecturer in the Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering Study Program. Creative Economy assistance in the culinary field was held in the form of training in processing catfish into smoked catfish and packaging the smoked catfish products produced.

 

One of the resource person representatives, namely Dr. Dewa Ayu Anom Yuarini, S.TP., M.Agb reported that this activity was the first assistance and training, according to reports from her there will be further training in the process of processing catfish into several processed products and other innovations which are expected to increase added value and product selling value, product shelf life and increase the ability of creative economic actors in processing catfish into innovative products.
