Commemorating Milk Day and Herbal Medicine Day, HIMATEPA FTP Unud Educates and Distributes Milk and Herbs to the Community
Food Technology Student
Association (HIMATEPA), Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University
commemorates the National Herbal Medicine Day which falls on May 27th
and World Milk Day which falls every 1st
June. In commemorating Milk Day and Herbal Medicine Day, HIMATEPA FTP Unud
provided education and distributed milk and herbal medicine to the public on
Saturday, June 4th, 2022 at the Denpasar Renon Field.
This activity was
accompanied by Lecturers of the Food Technology Study Program, namely Mrs. Luh
Putu Trisna Darmayanti, S.Hut., M.P and I Gede Arie Mahendra Putra, S.TP.,
M.TP. Milk and herbs distributed to the public are processed products produced
and packaged by students of the Food Technology Study Program, Faculty of
Agricultural Technology, Udayana University.

Mahatmananda as chairman of HIMATEPA said that the activity to commemorate Milk
Day and Herbal Medicine Day by going to the field was aimed at educating the
public regarding the benefits and importance of consuming herbal medicine and
milk for the body, besides that he also said that through this activity it was
hoped that the Indonesian people would more educated and interested in
consuming healthy drinks such as milk and herbal medicine, especially herbal
medicine is one of the nation's cultural heritage that should be preserved and
has been proven to have benefits for health.
