FTP Udayana University Lecturers Are Again Entrusted to Become Instructors in the 11th, 12th, and 13th Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Education and Training Activities
The Lecturer of the
Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University, was again entrusted
with becoming an Instructor in the 11th, 12th, and 13th Good Manufacturing
Practice (GMP) Education and Training activities which were held at the
Matahari Atambua Hotel, Belu Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. This activity is a
realization of the Collaboration of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology,
Udayana University with the Denpasar Industrial Training Center. The opening of
the 11th, 12th and 13th batches of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Training
was held in Belu District, East Nusa Tenggara. This activity was facilitated by
Member of the Republic of Indonesia DPR Herman Herry (Commission VII) which was
designed and managed by his partners, namely the Ministry of Industry in this
case the Denpasar Industrial Training Center (BDI) and made FTP Unud Lecturers
as Instructors. The Training Training was carried out using the method of
delivering materials, discussions, workshops and practices on June 20-23 2023
at the Matahari Atambua Hotel, Belu Regency, East Nusa Tenggara.
In this activity, 3 team
of FTP Unud lecturers namely Ir. I Gusti Ketut Arya Arthawan, M.Fd.Eng., Mrs.
Dr. Ni Nyoman Puspawati, S.TP., M.Sc., and Mrs. Putu Julyantika Nica Dewi,
S.TP., M.TP. along with 3 lecturers from Nusa Cendana University, namely Mrs. Ni
Luh Putu Ravi Cakswindryandani, S.TP., M.Sc., Mr. Ryan Pieter Imanuele Nalle,
S.TP., M.Sc., and Mr. Ir. Zainal Abidin, M.P. who is trusted to be the
Instructor of Training activities. Also present in this activity were the
Deputy Regent of Belu Regency, Mr. Drs. Aloysius Haleserens, M.M. who also
opened the event, representatives from BDI Denpasar and expert staff from the
DPR RI. The material presented at the GMP Training held is still the same,
namely the Importance of a Food Safety Management System, Standardization
System in Indonesia, Food Safety Management System Regulations in Indonesia,
GMP/CPPOB (18 Aspects) and SSOP (8 Keys), Food Additives (BTP) In addition, a
workshop was also held which discussed the preparation of CPPOB documents, the
preparation of SSOP documents and the design of food safety training, good and
correct handwashing practices, and material storage.
One of the instructor
representatives, Mr. Ir. I Gusti Ketut Arya Arthawan, M.Fd.Eng., said that the
competencies expected after the training were participants being able to carry
out food safety programs and procedures, able to design GMP/CPPOB, able to
conduct food safety training and able to follow work procedures to maintain
CPPOB practices, he said.
