Giving Students Opportunities Off-Campus, FTP Unud Provides and Releases 41 Independent Internship Students in 7 Companies in Bali

The Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University (FTP Unud) has carried out debriefing and releasing independent student internships on Wednesday, March 1^st , 2023 online via the Cisco Webex Meeting. This activity was attended by 41 students who will carry out independent internships spread across 7 companies in Bali including PT. Aerofood Catering Service (ACS) Denpasar, PT. Cau Cokelat International, PT. Bali Extract Utama (BEU), PT. Karsa Abadi Bali (Made Tea), Bali Spa Factory, Kaori Group and Cool Young Farmers (PMK).

 

This activity was attended and opened by 3^rd Deputy Dean of FTP Unud, Dr. Ir. Komang Ayu Nocianitri, M.Agr.Sc and attended by the Management Team of the FTP Unud Internship Program, Dr. Ni Nyoman Puspawati, S.TP., M.Si., Sayi Hatiningsih, S.TP., M.Si., Luh Putu Trisna Darmayanti, S.Hut., M.P., Cokorda Anom Bayu Sadyasmara, S.TP., M .Sc., I Wayan Gede Sedana Yoga, S.TP., M.Agb., Ni Putu Suwariani, S.TP., M.Biotech, I Putu Gede Budisanjaya, S.TP., MT., Ida Ayu Gede Bintang Madrini, S.TP., M.Agr., PhD., and Ni Luh Yulianti, S.TP., M.Si.. The debriefing and release of independent apprentice students aims to provide provision regarding what students need to prepare for carry out an internship at the company. This activity also brought in speakers, namely Ni Nyoman Desi Trisnadewi, S.TP., M.Si. who is a Research & Development Staff of PT. Bali Extract Utama which provides training related to the preparation of internship students in companies, especially in extract companies. Another guest speaker, the owner of the Kaori Group, namely Ni Kadek Winie Kaori, I.M., S.E., M.M. which provides training related to marketing, communication & entrepreneurship which aims to increase the capabilities of apprentices in order to prepare their mentality and abilities when implementing internships at the company later. In addition, an understanding and provision regarding Ethics and Discipline was given during the Internship from the Management Team of the FTP Unud Internship Program.

 

This activity was closed by the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University, Prof. Ir. I Made Anom Sutrisna Wijaya, M.App.Sc., Ph.D., he also said in his closing remarks that his hope was that FTP Unud students would have the opportunity to hone their skills and work experience in the industrial world, to be precise in companies that match their fields. Agricultural Technology, besides that he also hopes that by participating in an independent internship program, students can find ideas or problems that can later be solved and given solutions by pouring these ideas or problems into their final project, he concluded.
