In Collaboration with Sookmyung Womens University South Korea, FTP Udayana Holds Digital and Leadership Training Program 2024

The Faculty of Agricultural Technology of Udayana University collaborated with Sookmyung Womens University South Korea to organize the Digital and Leadership Training Program 2024 which was supported by UNESCO UNITWIN. The activity took place on July 8-12, 2024 which was attended by 60 students from various study programs at Udayana University who had passed the selection stage.

 

The opening of this activity was held on July 8, 2024 which was attended and opened directly by the Rector of Udayana University, Prof. Ir. Ngakan Putu Gede Suardana, M.T., Ph.D., IPU, All Ranks of Leaders in Udayana University, Speakers and Team from APWINC (Asia Pacific Women's Information Network Center). The activity was divided into 2 classes, namely the Leadership Class which presented a speaker, Prof. Sehjae Chun who is Dean, Office of International Affairs from the Department of English Language and Literature and the Digital Class which presented a speaker, Prof. Jinwon Choi who is a Professor from the Department of Mathematics Sookmyung Womens University South Korea, along with 2 researchers from the UNITWIN Team, namely Ms. Sukyung Kim and Ms. Jiye Kang and 4 students from Sookmyung Womens University South Korea.

 

During the activity students were given projects that were solved both individually and together with the team. At the closing ceremony, the Best Participant and Best Group were determined with a total of 8 students as winners and facilitated to take part in activities for 1 week in South Korea in November. The best group from the Leadership class is Dewa Ayu Made Wulan Sintya Dewi, Ida Ayu Agung Prapita Hermayuli, Kayla Victoria Kirana and Kadek Indira Lokahita. While the best group from the Digital Class is Kheren Natasha Wibawa, Yunita Kusumaning Ratri and Maria Rosary Mayaranti Putri and the Best Student is Marie Reina Meicyndi Saragih.

 

The Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology reported that this activity is one of the postitive collaborations that can improve the ability of students at Udayana University, especially at the Faculty of Agricultural Technology through the programs provided, he also hopes that in the future collaborations like this can continue and continue to develop not only in the fields of education and research but also in the field of community service, he said.
