Increase Productivity and Quality of PKM, HIMATEPA FTP Unud Held SEFOLOGY 2022
The Food Technology Study
Program Student Association (HIMATEPA) Faculty of Agricultural Technology,
Udayana University held SEFOLOGY (Scientific Events of Food Technology) 2022 to
increase productivity and quality of PKM Proposal (Student Creativity Program)
which was held in Hybrid on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at the JA Building Faculty of
Agricultural Technology Bukit Jimbaran. The activity on the second day was
attended and opened directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural
Technology, Prof. Ir. I Made Anom Sutrisna Wiaya, M.App.Sc., Ph.D., and
attended by the Coordinator of Food Technology Study Program, Mrs. Dr. Gusti
Ayu Kadek Diah Puspawati, S.TP., M.Si and several Lecturers of the Food
Technology Study Program, namely Mrs. A.A. Istri Sri Wiadnyani, S.TP., M.Sc.,
Luh Putu Trisna Darmayanti, S.Hut., M.P., and I Gede Arie Mahendra Putra,
S.TP., M.TP.
Previously, the SEFOLOGY
event on the first day was held on Sunday, March 20, 2022 in the Reading Room
of the GA Building, 2nd Floor, Unud Jimbaran Campus. The first day's activity
was a briefing talkshow that presented speakers from students who had
experience in making PKM Proposals until they passed the Funding stage. This
activity was attended by students of the Food Technology Study Program Class of
2020 and 2021.
The second day of
SEFOLOGY activities was a series of activities on the first day which contained
presentations of selected student PKM proposals. The PKM presented came from
various categories such as PKM for the Application of Science and Technology,
PKM for Community Service, PKM for Entrepreneurship and PKM for Research and
Exact. The jury for this activity are Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nengah Kencana Putra,
M.S., Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Sucipta, M.P., and Mrs. Dr. Ir. Luh Putu Wrasiati,
M.P.
Some of the topics
brought up by the students were the Innovation of Functional Powder Drinks
Based on Upas and Spices to Maintain the Respiratory System, Jelly Candy
Innovation with Indonesian Traditional Herbal Flavor Variants as an Effort to
Increase Children's Interest in Consumption of Herbal Foods, Processing
Breadfruit into Flour For Making Dry Cookies, Rosella Nata De Coco Alternative
Food Processes Rich in Natural Antioxidants and many other interesting ideas.

Mahatmananda as chairman of HIMATEPA hopes that through this activity it can
improve the quality and quantity of PKM production in the Faculty of
Agricultural Technology, especially in the Food Technology Study Program so that
in the future the PKM produced can compete at the Faculty, University level and
even pass to the University level and funding.
