Ready to Collaborate and Develop Tourism Supporting Creative Industries for Tourism Villages, FTP Unud Explores Cooperation with the Badung Regency Tourism Office

University (FTP Unud) is ready to develop a creative industry supporting
tourism for Tourism Villages in the Badung Regency Region with the Badung
Regency Tourism Office. Exploration of FTP Cooperation which was carried out on
Thursday, 19th May 2022 in the Aspiration Room, Badung Regency
Tourism Office.
FTP Unud was represented
by the Coordinator of the Information Management and Cooperation Unit, Mrs. Dr.
Dewa Ayu Anom Yuarini, S.TP., M.Agb, Mrs. Dr. Ir. Luh Putu Wrasiati, M.P and I
Gede Arie Mahendra Putra, S.TP., M.TP. This exploration of cooperation was
received directly by the Head of the Badung Regency Tourism Office Mr. I Nyoman
Rudiarta, S.STP., M.M accompanied by the Head of the Tourism Industry Mr. Ngakan
Putu Triariawan, S.H., Head of Tourism Resources Ms. Ni Putu Sukresning, S.E.,
and team.
This exploration of
cooperation discusses collaboration and synergy related to the downstreaming of
research results by lecturers of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology for the
development of creative industries to support tourism in the Tourism Village of
Badung Regency. Mrs. Dr. Dewa Ayu Anom Yuarini, S.TP., M.Agb as the Coordinator
of the FTP Unud Information Management and Cooperation Unit explained that the
creative industry here can explore the potential of agricultural products from
each tourist village, and from this potential processing can be done into
creative products that have value added with packaging, labeling and
fulfillment of requirements so that the product becomes fit for circulation and
can become a tourist village product that can support tourism as a typical
village gift. For example, a tourist village with potential agricultural
products of spices, lemongrass and ginger, for example, can be processed into
"herbal tea" products, lemongrass soap and "spice body
oil". So we from FTP are ready to train, assist in making products,
packaging, labeling, seeking distribution permits and even marketing methods
for these products, said Anom Yuarini.
The exploration of this
collaboration was welcomed by the Head of the Badung Regency Tourism Office Mr.
I Nyoman Rudiarta, S.STP., M.M said that if this collaboration can be carried
out later, he hopes to help in building a tourist village in Badung Regency,
especially in developing creative industries to support tourism in tourist
villages. The potential of agricultural products can be maximized into products
so that a creative industry is formed that can be used as a characteristic of
Tourism Villages in each Village.
Through this exploration
of cooperation, it is hoped that later between FTP Unud and the Badung Regency
Tourism Office can establish positive cooperation to advance the tourism sector
in Badung Regency, especially with regard to product development that can be
used as creative industry products as a characteristic of Tourism Villages. In
addition, it is hoped that through this collaboration, FTP Unud can help
develop village potentials in Badung Regency through the application and application
of the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi.
