Realizing the MBKM Bina Desa Activity Program, TPB Students Promote Waste Management into Ecoenzymes and Compost Fertilizer at SDN 1 Takmung

Students of the Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University (TPB FTP Unud) who are members of the MBKM Bina Desa under the guidance of Mr. Ir. I Wayan Tika, M.P. has realized the program, namely Socialization of Waste Management into Ecoenzymes and Compost Fertilizer at SDN 1 Takmung on June 7^th  2023.

 

Activities carried out as a form of practicing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, especially as a concrete form of community service experience and one of the programs launched and realized at MBKM Bina Desa carried out by the TPB FTP Unud Student Group. The socialization activity was accompanied by the Principal of SDN 1 Takmung which was attended by all students of SDN 1 Takmung.

 

One of the student representatives, Oktavianus Erwin Chrisdana Kusuma as the group leader reported that the purpose of holding the socialization activity was to educate Takung 1 SDN students regarding waste management, besides that it also helped reduce the amount of organic waste so that it could be reused into ecoenzymes and compost, he also said that the hope from its implementation was that Takmung 1 Elementary School students could be educated about waste and could tackle waste problems by managing waste at school and being able to process it into useful products under the guidance of teachers, he said.
